If the victim agrees to this, the fraudster requests a large sum of money from the victim. The fraudsters then disappear with the money or give the victim a false certificate, which can result in both the fraudster and the victim being imprisoned. If you receive an email, text message or social media message of this type, we strongly advise you to ignore the message. You may verify the authenticity of the message by contacting CTC at info@ctctraining.co.za.
