The successful candidate must have the right to work in this country and must meet the following requirements:

• Qualified Artisan in the relevant Electrical trade
• More than 3 years of workplace artisanal experience
• At least 2 years’ experience supervising a section or working as a Training Officer
• Accredited Facilitator and Assessor qualifications
• Completed Medium Voltage Switching course
• Gas Testing certificate
• Flameproofing or Explosion-Protected Equipment training
• Wireman’s License (advantageous)
• Knowledge of QCTO and NAMB procedures (advantageous)
• Proven leadership ability is essential

Key Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and supporting high-quality engineering training, including:
• Planning and allocating training resources
• Presenting theoretical and practical training to learners
• Conducting learner assessments to determine competence
• Applying and upholding Engineering training standards
• Enforcing safety protocols and maintaining good housekeeping
• Administering and recording all learning activities
• Managing training flow to support learner progress
• Promoting safe working practices and correct PPE usage
• Communicating CTC rules and disciplinary procedures
• Maintaining discipline and minimising learner downtime
• Keeping learner records accurate and updated on digital and physical systems
